Elijah Moore
Elijah Moore Joining Eagles' WR corps
Tue, Mar 24, 2026, 7:16 PM
The Eagles are slated to sign Moore to a one-year deal, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: In nine regular-season games with the Bills in 2025, Moore caught just nine passes on 17 targets for 112 yards and carried six times for 24 yards and a TD. However, the 2021 second-rounder did log a 61/538/1 receiving line with Browns a year prior, and the 25-year-old will now look to engineer a bounce-back campaign with the Eagles. For now, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Hollywood Brown are atop the team's WR depth chart, but there's been plenty of speculation that Brown could be moved, and if that happens, Moore could push for notable role in Philadelphia's offense in 2026.
Dameon Pierce
Dameon Pierce Joining Eagles backfield
Thu, Mar 19, 2026, 11:14 AM
The Eagles have signed Pierce to a one-year deal.
Analysis: Pierce, who logged a combined 14 carries for 36 yards in five regular-season contests (four with the Texans and one with the Chiefs) in 2025, has seen his workload decrease in each of his last three seasons following his rookie campaign with Houston in 2022, during which recorded 220 carries in 13 games. With the Eagles, he'll compete with Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley for complementary backfield touches behind top back Saquon Barkley.
Stone Smartt
Stone Smartt Headed to Philadelphia
Thu, Mar 19, 2026, 11:01 AM
Smartt is slated to sign a one-year deal with the Eagles, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Smartt, who spent the first three years of his NFL career with the Chargers, recorded seven catches (on nine targets) for 52 yards in 15 games during his lone campaign with the Jets in 2025. This coming season, the 6-foot-4, 226-pounder will provide added depth to a Philadelphia TE corps that continues to be led by Dallas Goedert, with Grant Calcaterra and Johnny Mundt currently next up in the pecking order.
Andy Dalton
Andy Dalton Sent to Philly in trade
Wed, Mar 18, 2026, 2:35 PM
The Eagles agreed to terms Wednesday on a trade that sends a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Panthers in exchange for Dalton, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Dalton brings substantial veteran experience to the table as a new backup option behind Jalen Hurts, and his arrival could signify that Philadelphia is engaging in trade talks surrounding Tanner McKee, as Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports. In 2025, Dalton logged four regular-season appearances with the Panthers (one start), in which span he completed 68 percent of his pass attempts for 293 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Since entering the league in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft, the 38-year-old signal-caller has totaled 169 regular-season starts.
Hollywood Brown
Hollywood Brown Links up with Eagles
Tue, Mar 17, 2026, 11:10 AM
Brown is slated to sign a one-year contract with Philadelphia, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
Analysis: With trade speculation still surrounding A.J. Brown, the addition of the 2019 first-round pick provides some needed depth at wideout for the Eagles behind DeVonta Smith. Across 16 regular-season appearances with Kansas City in 2025, Brown secured 49 of 74 targets for 587 yards and five scores.
Dallas Goedert
Dallas Goedert Inks one-year deal with Philly
Sun, Mar 15, 2026, 3:06 PM
Goedert and the Eagles agreed to terms on a one-year, $7 million contract Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: The Eagles pushed Goedert's void date back to Monday, and the two sides have finally come to an agreement on a one-year deal. The contract agreement means that the Eagles will avoid a $20 million dead cap hit, per EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Questions still hover over the status of A.J. Brown heading into the 2026 season, but the Eagles will at least have a reliable target for Jalen Hurts in Goedert. The veteran tight end led Philadelphia last season with a career-high 11 touchdowns (across 15 regular-season games) and ranked third in catches and receiving yards behind Brown and DeVonta Smith. Goedert will lead the Eagles' tight end group that also consists of Grant Calcaterra, Johnny Mundt and Cameron Latu.
A.J. Brown
A.J. Brown Won't be traded at this time
Fri, Mar 13, 2026, 5:31 PM
While the Eagles have held conversations with the Patriots and Rams, Brown will not be traded at this time, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Both the Rams and Patriots have been linked to Brown in recent weeks, as he has familiarity with coach Mike Vrabel from their time together in Tennessee. In Los Angeles, the team needs a third receiver, and the two sides had conversations before the Rams pulled off a deal for Trent McDuffie from the Chiefs last week. According to Russini, talks could heat back up closer to June 1, as no move is believed to be imminent. There's been a whole lot of smoke surrounding Brown this offseason, and that typically indicates there's fire, so a trade can't be written off at some point.
Dallas Goedert
Dallas Goedert Contract decision pushed back
Fri, Mar 13, 2026, 4:45 PM
The Eagles and Goedert have pushed the void date on his contract back to Monday, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The void date on Goedert's deal had previously been pushed back to Friday, but Berman's report relays that the two sides will now have additional time to discuss a possible contract extension for the veteran tight end. Since free agency opened, the Eagles addressed their TE corps by re-signing Grant Calcaterra and bringing in Johnny Mundt, the latter of whom played for the Jaguars last season.
A.J. Brown
A.J. Brown Could still be traded
Fri, Mar 13, 2026, 10:56 AM
The Eagles have discussed trading Brown in recent weeks, including dialogue with the Rams before they traded for CB Trent McDuffie, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The report notes that Los Angeles remains interested, though negotiations slowed down after the McDuffie acquisition. New England is mentioned most often in trade rumors, even after reaching a four-year agreement with WR Romeo Doubs. The Eagles, meanwhile, don't seem to be in any rush, which makes sense given that any deal completed June 1 (or later) would have the dead-cap charge split between 2026 and 2027 (rather than taking the entire $43.4 million hit this year). One or two suitors may lose interest between now and then, especially after the NFL Draft, but there will always be some market for a player with six 1,000-yard seasons through seven years in the NFL. If the Eagles aren't happy with offers, they may instead try to sell Brown on the idea of an improved passing game under new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion.
Dallas Goedert
Dallas Goedert Technically under contract still
Wed, Mar 11, 2026, 5:00 PM
The void date on Goedert's contract has been pushed back to Friday, giving him two extra days to discuss an extension with the Eagles, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Goedert can still re-sign with Philadelphia after the deal voids, but it'll help the team for cap purposes if they agree to something before the tight end officially becomes a free agent. It sounds like Goedert prefers to stay with the only NFL team he's ever known.
Grant Calcaterra
Grant Calcaterra Returning to Philadelphia
Tue, Mar 10, 2026, 7:35 PM
The Eagles are expected to re-sign Calcaterra to a one-year deal, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Analysis: Calcaterra is expected to return to Philadelphia for the 2026 campaign, where he has spent the entirety of his four-year career. The 27-year-old caught nine passes for 76 yards and one touchdown last season and should remain one of the team's top backup tight ends for the upcoming campaign.
Johnny Mundt
Johnny Mundt Packs bags for Philly
Tue, Mar 10, 2026, 7:13 PM
Mundt agreed to terms Tuesday on a one-year contract with the Eagles, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Mundt quickly found a new home after being released by the Jaguars on Monday. The 31-year-old tight end played 385 offensive snaps last season but mostly stuck to a run-blocking role, catching just nine of 19 targets for 111 yards and no touchdowns. At the time of this report, Dallas Goedert still hasn't re-signed with the team, but the Eagles did sign Grant Calcaterra to a one-year deal, according to Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Mundt should be a key blocking piece to the Eagles' run-heavy attack, which frequently utilizes multiple tight ends, in 2026 regardless of Goedert's status with the team.
A.J. Brown
A.J. Brown Wanted by Eagles, but no guarantees
Tue, Feb 24, 2026, 8:53 AM
Philadelphia head coach Nick Sirianni said Tuesday that his "expectation" is that Brown wants remain with the Eagles but that he "can't guarantee" the wide receiver will play for the team in 2026, Tim McManus of ESPN reports.
Analysis: "[M]y expectation is [Brown] wants to be here," Sirianni said. "And obviously you want good players like that in your building," but he noted that "I can't guarantee how anything is going to play out into next season." Brown secured 78 of 121 targets for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns across 15 regular-season appearances in 2025, but at times he openly expressed frustration with the consistency of Philadelphia's offense. General manager Howie Roseman emphasized the fact that it is "really hard to find great players" when asked about Brown's status, but he also said the Eagles' policy is "listening to offers for everything and anything." In the event that Brown were to be traded, doing so prior to June 1 would result in Philadelphia incurring over $40 million in dead cap, compared to less than $20 million after that date.
Britain Covey
Britain Covey Limited offensive work in 2025
Thu, Feb 12, 2026, 12:38 PM
Covey caught two of four targets for 20 yards across six regular-season games in 2025. Additionally, he tallied 125 kick-return yards and 124 punt-return yards.
Analysis: Covey spent most of his 2025 campaign with Philadelphia's practice squad before joining the active roster ahead of Week 13. He was primarily limited to special teams, outside of the Eagles' Week 18 loss to the Commanders, when he caught two passes for 20 yards while playing 35 offensive snaps. The Utah product also did not log an offensive snap in the wild-card loss to the 49ers but tallied 61 kick-return yards. Set to enter unrestricted free agency, Covey could find work as a return specialist ahead of the 2026 season.
Grant Calcaterra
Grant Calcaterra Production dips in 2025
Thu, Feb 12, 2026, 12:31 PM
Calcaterra caught nine of 13 targets for 76 yards and one touchdown across 15 regular-season games in 2025.
Analysis: The fourth-year pro from SMU saw declines across several statistical categories compared to his 2024 campaign, recording fewer yards (298 to 76), targets (30 to 13) and receptions (24 to nine) while playing 356 fewer offensive snaps. The drop-off was likely influenced by Dallas Goedert's availability, as he missed seven regular-season games in 2024 but just two in 2025. With Calcaterra's rookie deal ending after the 2025 season, he's now set to enter unrestricted free agency. He could find work with a team in need of tight-end depth and compete for a larger offensive role this summer.
Cameron Latu
Cameron Latu No offensive production in 2025
Thu, Feb 12, 2026, 12:22 PM
Latu didn't record an offensive statistic despite logging 104 offensive snaps across 15 regular-season games in 2025.
Analysis: Latu primarily served as a blocker while operating as Philadelphia's No. 4 tight end, receiving no targets this year. Despite the limited offensive involvement, the Alabama product remained a valuable contributor on special teams, playing 256 snaps and recording 11 total tackles during the regular season. Under contract through the 2026 season, Latu is expected to compete for a larger offensive role this offseason.
Jaheim Bell
Jaheim Bell Signed to future deal
Wed, Jan 21, 2026, 5:00 PM
The Eagles signed Bell to a reserve/future contract Wednesday.
Analysis: Bell was cut from the Eagles' practice squad in October, and the tight end spent the rest of his season as a member of the Steelers' practice squad. The 24-year-old was not elevated to the active roster for any games this season. With a contract in place, Bell will have a chance to make the 2026 Eagles' roster once training camp commences.
Carson Steele
Carson Steele Gets chance with Eagles
Tue, Jan 13, 2026, 4:22 PM
Philadelphia signed Steele to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.
Analysis: Steele didn't log a single regular-season appearance in 2025, though he did spend time on Kansas City's practice squad. Next, the hybrid fullback/running back will get an opportunity to compete for a depth role in the Eagles' backfield this offseason.
Kylen Granson
Kylen Granson Finishes season with career lows
Mon, Jan 12, 2026, 8:47 PM
Granson finished his fifth professional season with career lows in catches (seven), targets (nine) and receiving yards (40).
Analysis: Granson posted all those career lows despite suiting up for all 17 games this season, as he simply wasn't part of the Eagles' offensive gameplan. Most of his production came in the final week of the season with the Eagles resting their starers. He averaged just 0.2 catches for 0.6 yards in the first 16 games.
Darius Cooper
Darius Cooper Nine catches in rookie season
Mon, Jan 12, 2026, 8:41 PM
Cooper appeared in 13 regular-season games in his rookie season, finishing with nine catches for 92 yards.
Analysis: All nine of Cooper's catches came in the final seven weeks of the season, with a season-high three coming in Week 18 with the Eagles resting their starters. Credit for Cooper for earning a spot on the active roster from Week 1 as an undrafted free agent and for improving throughout the year, but it will take a shakeup to the Eagles' receiver room this offseason for him to have a shot at a fantasy-relevant role.
