Inks deal with Philly
Wed, Jun 10, 2026, 4:52 PM
Epenesa (undisclosed) signed with the Eagles on Wednesday.
Analysis: Epenesa reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Browns in late March, but Cleveland ultimately backed out of the deal following his physical. He now appears to have moved past whatever issue was uncovered, as he's been brought in by the Eagles. The 2020 second-round pick from Iowa appeared in 16 regular-season games for the Bills last year, recording 32 total tackles, including 2.5 sacks, and four passes defensed, with two interceptions. Now in Philadelphia, Epenesa will likely operate as one of the team's top reserve edge rushers during the 2026 season.
Returning for training camp?
Wed, Jun 10, 2026, 3:27 PM
Campbell (shoulder) has not practiced all spring but is expected to return for training camp, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Analysis: As defensive coordinator Vic Fangio stated in late May, the expectation is for Campbell to be ready for Eagles' training camp in July. Campbell, a 2025 first-round pick from Alabama, appeared in 17 regular-season games during his rookie campaign, recording 80 total tackles, three passes defensed, including one interception, and one forced fumble. With Nakobe Dean's departure in free agency, Campbell is expected to operate as one of Philadelphia's top inside linebackers once healthy.
Eli Stowers
Eli Stowers Dealing with minor injury?
Wed, Jun 10, 2026, 12:55 PM
Stowers appears to have a lower-body injury and isn't doing much at Wednesday's practice, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Analysis: The rookie second-round pick has a sleeve over his right leg and reportedly hasn't been doing much this week. Philadelphia's first-round pick, WR Makai Lemon, has also been absent from recent practices, nursing a hamstring injury that doesn't sound overly severe. Stowers' issue doesn't sound serious either, but it's possible he'll be limited for these last few practices before the Eagles break for the summer. Nothing at this stage hints at doubt about his availability for the start of training camp in late July. The concern for Stowers' fantasy value is Dallas Goedert's continued presence in Philadelphia, not a minor injury during OTAs.
Participating in minicamp
Tue, Jun 9, 2026, 9:36 PM
Johnson (foot) is participating in Philadelphia's minicamp, Jeff McLane of the Inquirer reports.
Analysis: Johnson missed the final eight games of the 2025 campaign with a Lisfranc injury but is now healthy again. The 36-year-old will once again serve as the Eagles' starting right tackle during the upcoming season.
Tanner McKee
Tanner McKee Working behind Dalton as QB3
Tue, Jun 9, 2026, 1:16 PM
McKee has been working as the clear third quarterback behind Jalen Hurts and Andy Dalton during spring practices, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: McKee was excellent in his lone 2025 preseason appearance, completing 20 of 25 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns while adding a third score on the ground. He looked like someone the Eagles could dangle in trade talks to a team looking to develop a potential starter at QB. However, McKee then disappointed in a Week 18 spot start against the Commanders, going 21-for-40 for 241 yards, one touchdown and one interception while absorbing three sacks in a 24-17 loss. The Eagles traded for Dalton in March, and it looks like McKee has been bumped down the depth chart as a result.
Signing with Eagles
Fri, Jun 5, 2026, 6:25 PM
Philadelphia signed Wilson on Friday, Glenn Erby of USA Today reports.
Analysis: The Eagles have become notorious in recent years for investing heavily in their defensive line, and Wilson's new contract includes $225,000 in guaranteed money, which is an relatively large figure for an undrafted rookie. He'll be competing for a depth role behind a stacked front three if he can land a spot on the final 53-man roster for 2026.
Back with Philly
Wed, Jun 3, 2026, 8:01 PM
Philadelphia re-signed Martin on Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Analysis: Just two days after being waived by the Eagles, Martin is now back in the building as OTAs resume. He played 34 snaps in his rookie season with Baltimore in 2025, all of which came on special teams.
Elijah Mitchell
Elijah Mitchell Headed to Philly
Tue, Jun 2, 2026, 6:44 PM
The Eagles signed Mitchell on Tuesday.
Analysis: After trying out during Philadelphia's rookie camp earlier this spring, per Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia, Mitchell is now getting a chance to make an impression with the birds as offseason workouts resume. There could be room for legitimate competition in the Eagles' backfield behind Saquon Barkley, as both Tank Bigsby and 2024 fourth-rounder Will Shipley are relatively unproven.
Makai Lemon
Makai Lemon Dealing with hamstring injury
Tue, Jun 2, 2026, 1:53 PM
Lemon did not participate in Tuesday's practice due to a hamstring injury, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The 2026 first-round pick observed practice off to the side with his right leg in a compression sleeve. Following Monday's trade of A.J. Brown to the Patriots, Lemon is expected to operate as the Eagles' WR2 alongside DeVonta Smith this season. The severity of his hamstring injury isn't clear, but it wouldn't be a surprise if Lemon is done for the remainder of OTAs, with the focus being on having him fully healthy for training camp in July.
Samori Toure
Samori Toure Lands in Philly
Mon, Jun 1, 2026, 6:13 PM
Toure signed with the Eagles on Monday.
Analysis: The seventh-round pick of the Packers in 2022 appeared in 22 regular-season games with his original team across his first two NFL campaigns. Toure spent the majority of last year on New Orleans' practice squad before playing in the regular-season finale. The wide receiver joins a crowded depth chart in Philadelphia that includes DeVonta Smith, 2026 first-round pick Makai Lemon and offseason additions Dontayvion Wicks, Hollywood Brown and Elijah Moore.
DeVonta Smith
DeVonta Smith Philly's WR1 after Brown trade
Mon, Jun 1, 2026, 3:59 PM
Smith is set to operate as the Eagles' top wide receiver after the team traded A.J. Brown to the Patriots on Monday.
Analysis: In anticipation of trading Brown, Philadelphia bolstered its wide receiver room by selecting Makai Lemon in the first round of this year's draft, in addition to trading for Dontayvion Wicks and signing Hollywood Brown and Elijah Moore in free agency. Smith figures to work ahead of those offseason additions after posting the third 1,000-yard regular season of his five-year career in 2025. Philadelphia's 2021 first-round draft pick has averaged 111 targets in his first five regular seasons, the last four of which came while starting alongside Brown.
Getting reps at guard
Thu, May 28, 2026, 7:31 PM
Hinton (back) is participating during the Eagles' OTAs, Glenn Erby of USA Today reports.
Analysis: On paper, Hinton's length (6-foot-6, 34-inch arms) makes him better suited for work at tackle, but even still, his path to playing time might be clearer inside, given Philadelphia's offensive line personnel otherwise. Hinton figures to be a depth option if he can earn a spot on the 53-man roster for 2026.
Playing during OTAs
Thu, May 28, 2026, 7:27 PM
Lampkin (knee) is participating in OTAs, Glenn Erby of Eagles Wire reports.
Analysis: The Eagles claimed Lampkin off waivers last August but kept him on IR for the entire season. He's currently in competition with Drew Kendall for the backup center spot behind Cam Jurgens.
Johnny Wilson
Johnny Wilson Participating in OTAs
Thu, May 28, 2026, 6:29 PM
Wilson (knee) is participating in organized team activities, Glenn Erby of Eagles Wire reports.
Analysis: The wide receiver suffered a season-ending knee injury in August of last year. Wilson is not only back for OTAs, but receiving some first-team reps ahead of Hollywood Brown and Elijah Moore, per Erby. The 2024 sixth-round pick caught five passes for 38 yards and a score as a rookie.
Returns for OTAs
Wed, May 27, 2026, 2:43 PM
Mukuba (ankle) participated in Philadelphia's OTAs on Wednesday, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Mukuba missed Philadelphia's last seven games (including playoffs) of the 2025 season due to an ankle injury, but it now appears he's recovered from the issue. Prior to picking up the injury, the 2025 second-round pick from Texas had emerged as a crucial part of the Eagles' secondary, recording 46 total tackles, including 0.5 sacks, and three passes defensed, with two interceptions, across 11 appearances. He's expected to operate as the team's top free safety during the 2026 campaign.
Picked up by Philly
Wed, May 27, 2026, 2:31 PM
Hayes signed with the Eagles on Wednesday.
Analysis: Hayes, an undrafted rookie out of SE Louisiana, appeared in 13 games during his final collegiate season, catching 19 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns while rushing 18 times for 107 yards. Additionally, he was an impactful kick returner, tallying 583 return yards and two touchdowns. Now with the Eagles, Hayes will likely compete for a special-teams role as the offseason progresses.
Makai Lemon
Makai Lemon Working with starters at OTAs
Wed, May 27, 2026, 12:32 PM
Lemon is working with the starters during 7-on-7 drills at OTAs on Wednesday, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
Analysis: Lemon is already working with Jalen Hurts and the starting offense one month after having joined the Eagles in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 20th overall. Of course, with A.J. Brown and Dontayvion Wicks not present for voluntary OTAs, as Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports, Lemon is currently only competing with Hollywood Brown and Elijah Moore for starting reps behind DeVonta Smith. In the event that the Eagles do eventually part ways with Brown via trade after June 1, Lemon's path to an immediate stating role as a rookie will be clearer.
Moving to safety
Fri, May 22, 2026, 2:23 PM
The Eagles stated Friday that Dejean will be moving to safety in a base defense, Brandon Lee Gowton of bleedinggreennation.com reports.
Analysis: Dejean played many of his 2025 snaps as the slot cornerback in the Eagles' scheme, but it appears the team intends to test Marcus Epps with a competition for the starting strong safety job. With Michael Carter joining the team after a 2025 midseason trade, it seems defensive coordinator Vic Fangio is attempting to maximize his defensive backs. Both Dejean and Carter have received All-Pro votes at slot cornerback, with Dejean winning first team honors in 2025. If Dejean can translate that talent to safety, the Eagles could field elite value at both positions as they attempt to defend the NFC East title.
May not attend OTAs
Fri, May 22, 2026, 2:12 PM
Campbell (shoulder) may not participate in OTAs but will be ready for training camp, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio made it clear that the linebacker would be ready for training camp and left the door open for Campbell to even log some reps in the latter portion of OTAs. The 2025 first-round pick is set to step into a starting role next to Zack Baun in 2026. The departure of Nakobe Dean in free agency means Campbell will take on an expanded role in the Eagles' defense.
Arrested on speeding charges
Thu, May 21, 2026, 8:54 AM
Smith was arrested last Friday in Georgia and is accused of speeding and reckless driving, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: According to a representative of the Twiggs County Sheriff's Office, Smith's vehicle was clocked at 130 miles per hour in a 70 mph zone while the 25-year-old was driving on the interstate. A court date for Smith's case has been set for July 14, though he wouldn't have to appear if he agrees to pay the fines associated with his citations. A 2023 first-round draft pick, Smith has accrued 10.5 sacks and 25 quarterback hits over 45 career games during the regular season and was a standout performer in the Eagles' run to the Super Bowl in 2024, when he racked up 4.0 sacks in four playoff contests.
